Penn Live – Peace Muslims gather at Pa. State Farm Show Complex

The oldest annual Muslim conference resumed in-person gatherings today to discuss world peace initiatives and saving the world from destruction. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA will host its 72nd Jalsa Salana (annual convention) from June 17 to 19 in Harrisburg.
After being on hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Jalsa Salana event is expected to draw over 5,000 people to Harrisburg for presentations and discussions about international peace, leadership, and unity.
Among the convention’s central themes is a focus on the work required to avoid the catastrophic effects of a third world war. As a dark shadow of war hangs over a large part of the globe, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has warned for a decade about the need for absolute justice in international and national affairs to avoid the inevitability of World War 3.
