Muslim Community Stands with Victims of Boulder Rally Attack
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA condemns violence, urges justice and solidarity against hate
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is deeply saddened and shocked by the violent attack that occurred on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado, where eight individuals were injured during a peaceful gathering advocating for the release of hostages in Gaza. The use of incendiary devices against innocent civilians is a heinous act that we unequivocally condemn.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the broader community affected by this senseless violence. We extend our heartfelt wishes for the swift and full recovery of all those injured.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has always stood for peace, justice, and the sanctity of human life. We denounce all forms of hatred and violence, regardless of the perpetrator or the purported cause. Such acts have no place in our world and only serve to sow division and fear.
We call upon all communities to come together in solidarity against hatred and to promote understanding and compassion. Let us work collectively to ensure that peace prevails and that justice is served.
About the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community:
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans 213 countries with tens of millions of members. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is the oldest American-Muslim organization.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. The Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival and moderation. He divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.
