Nationwide Inter-Faith Iftar Campaign Draws Members of U.S. Congress and Over 2,000 Guests

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA opened its mosques across 55 chapters this Ramadan in a nationwide inter-faith Iftar campaign.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA opened its mosques across 55 chapters this Ramadan in a nationwide inter-faith Iftar campaign. This year’s theme focused on “Voices for Peace” in a time of conflict and emphasized the guidance from head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, about achieving peace in Gaza. Federal, state, county and local public officials and members of law enforcement attended the event, alongside interfaith congregations and professors. More than 2,000 guests and 200 public officials attended the events in the aggregate. Among the attendees included U.S. Members of Congress Rep. Casten (D-Illinois), Rep. Jacobs (D-California), Rep. Grothman (R-Wisconsin), Rep. Olszewski (D-Maryland), Rep. Subramanyan (D-Virginia), Rep. Liccardo (D-California) and Rep. Morrison (D-Minnesota).
